Seroc Oy is a Finnish facade materials company with a growing project portfolio spanning architectural cladding, renovation projects, and material specification work across Finland. MJK rebuilt their WordPress site from the ground up, with a custom project index system, per-material template pages, and a full technical SEO cleanup.
The work meant building infrastructure that didn't exist yet. MJK developed a custom "Seroc Projects" plugin to handle dynamic project listings, created dedicated taxonomy templates for each material type, and processed the entire image library into optimized, properly localized assets.
Seroc needed a way to showcase a growing library of facade material projects without manually building a new page for every one. The existing site also carried staging-era SEO settings that were actively blocking pages from being indexed.
Built a custom plugin to power a dynamic project index, with a dedicated template for each material taxonomy. Structured content, fields, and image handling to scale cleanly as new projects and materials get added.
Wrote Finnish copy for every project page in plain, natural prose, avoiding stiff or AI-sounding phrasing. Processed all project photography to WebP with proper compression and full Finnish alt text for accessibility and search.
Corrected a noindex issue left over from staging that was preventing project and material pages from appearing in search. Assigned distinct SEO keyphrases to every page to avoid keyword overlap, and corrected locale settings across the site.
